About Us

Originally the "Montana Fire Department" established in 1987 by a group of concerned citizens. As with most volunteer departments funds were short, but members were long on enthusiasm. There was little public support and only a handful of dedicated members to provide fire suppression. Over a period of time, with support and enrollment of a special group of individuals with specific skills and experience, the department began to rapidly develop and expand.​

​ Montana Vista Fire Rescue was developed to meet the emergency needs of the community. The role of the Department varies but is constant. We, as members of the Department, have a responsibility to the department, other members, and the community. We provide our best effort to maintain the high standards that have become the trademark of Montana Vista Fire Rescue.
